Other than that, I've been kinda crazy. Workin a lot, and actually going to see a ton of shows. Besides actually going to see Eden*Star play, I go with Daniel to see tons of other people, sometimes to promote, other times just to support friends. It's pretty cool. I think I have to start picking and choosing what I go to though, cause going to shows Friday, Saturday, and Sunday gets not only expensive, but tiring as well .___.

In other news, I FINALLY cleaned out my storage unit. My whole apartment worth of furniture. By myself T____T That was terrible. That's what I get for having my day off on a Thursday. Everyone else is at work. But at least taht's $75 I don't have to spend.

I think I'm going to put that money to my tattoo that I'm going to go get. My appointment is Dec. 6th. I'm soo excited!!

Ok. I have to get going- I have a ton of stuff to put up on ebay, so that I can afford both a tattoo and Christmas presents. So you guys know, I'm not expecting any presents for Christmas!! That get so expensive >.> Unless you want to exchange gifts, I'm just going to do Christmas cards n.n

It's that "pit toilets" are every bit as horrific as they sound.

Yeah, so I went camping this weekend. It was my first time ever camping, and I won't lie- it sucked. Lol. It rained the whole time (with some thunderstorms), the toilets were horror-movie scary, and me and Daniel shared a tent that comfortably fit only one.
Don't get me wrong- it had high points too. Including, but not limited to, pirate rafting (complete with tricorner hats, swords, and parrots), all you can eat smores, fire rosted hot dogs (*__* soo good), and general silliness all around. Almost made it worth it- we've actually decided to have a rematch with mother nature this fall.

On another note entirely, I came back ready and raring to create. I spoke with an advisor from SVA in Manhattan, and he says I should come in for a portfolio review. If my portfolio is up to snuff I could take a year of interning and classes then go for an MFA!! o__0

Haha first update in forever, and it's about fish. How silly. Anyway- I decided to get Aloicious some company in the form of guppies.. more specifically, 1 boy guppy and 2 girl guppies. Now I have babies!! XD XD XD They're sooo tiny, like only 1/4 to 1/2" long. Pictures here:





So if any one wants fish, in like a month I'll have guppies!!


AND!! As if that weren't enough.. While I was at the pet store getting tiny for for the itty bitty new babies, me and Daniel both caved n and got betta fish. His has a cool spiky tail (It's technically a crowntail), but mine has awesome colors and huge fins. They can be found here:

Eh, so anyway- I've already taken care of the costume for Nana O., I just need some kick ass boots and a wig. I haven't started on the one for Nanao yet though- there's lots more sewing involved in that one... ;__;

For those of you who need cosplay wigs, I just found this site: Paula Young Wigs (click here). It's got some really cheap wigs, and they're supposedly pretty good quality.
Ok, now I have to get to work- I'm cleaning out my collection of anime stuff (read: selling it on ebay) to pay off my car (booo) and pay for the trip to Otakon (yaaay).

Yaaay! For trying not to waste my super-cool layout by not posting .__.

Heh. So guess what? I'm gonna be a slacker. For the first time in a long time, I'm only going to have one job. I'm quitting the doctors. There seriously aren't words enough to express how much this summer is going to rock. Only working 30 hours a week!! Sure, I make less money- but it's off the book, and if I learn to ventilate hair pieces I can $15/hour. It's so funny cause I've never made that much in my life, and this is the least serious job I've ever had. What's even more sad is that I didn't even make that much bartending >.> So if anyone wants a job- there's an opening in the medical records department of Brunswick Hills OBGYN- it pays $12 and hour for pretty mindless, not so difficult work. Girls only though n.~

In other news, to make up for the cash I'm losing out on, I've decided to start selling art commissions. Heh so expect to see less of me, cause I'm going to start locking myself away to draw >.>
I might be online more though, cause I'll be at my computer. And I'll be posting the stuff I do, so I'll definately be more accessible. I think I might use my lj (good god yes, I actually have one of those, and I seriously use it less than I use this one >.>) to post my random art stuff n.n So look forward to that! ...cause i said so. you better do it.

It's what I asked for Christmas, lol.

so- the hi-an-lo of my life in the past, like 4 or 5 months. I ran through like five jobs. moved out of the apartment cause my (shithead) roommate. livin wif da folks now. well, mostly there. (been spending a lot of my nights in someone else's bed, if ya know what i mean n.~)
And i decided to start getting my shit together, and at the same time enjoying my life a lil bit more. I've been working like crazy the last coupla months- for a while there i was pulling like, 60-70 hour weeks. I still do about 50 hours a week between a doctor's office and a guy's hair salon. I decided to try and wait until I pay off my car to quit the Dr's.
lol I'm not likin it there, to say the least. But at the same, time i found this apartment in old bridge that seems freaking perfect. which i might not be able to get if i quit -___-

Still, i got plenty to be happy about: I decided to really buckle down and concentrate on my art and make my career out of that. Maybe even doing tattoos. Who knows?
And!! I decided who to cosplay as for Otakon. I'm going as Nanao from Bleach. I'm very excited to be going as girl this year, lol. I dunno, i think last year kinda put an end to my desire to cosplay guys. Cause it seemed like i made a pretty convincing guy. and not an attractive one, lol- womanly curves somehow turned into a very awkward (and slightly pudgy) looking boy. >.> So that's the end of that! I can't wait for this year it's gonna rock the socks! XD

Kay, so on that note! I'm off to draw or do something creative before i fall asleep <3
